Artist Statement
I like to paint quiet scenes with an echo of a tranquil lost world. Ideally something should suggest mystery or secrets yet to unfold. I try to fuse this longing for an imaginary forgotten era with images of my daily experiences, walking in London parks and streets and the surrounding countryside, views that often have no reference to contemporary life.
